Introductory Flights for Prospective Students
Pittsburgh Flight Training Center (PFTC) offers a 30 minute or 60 minute flight for the aviation admirer. As a student of flight, you will be paired with a certified flight instructor and begin to learn the basics of aviation.
Our introductory flights are ideal for a prospective student that has not decided whether or not they want to pursue flight training or has not yet decided whether to train under Part 141 or Part 61 regulations.
A 60–minute introductory flight would include a local flight to our practice airspace located south of the city where the student is able to take the controls and fly themselves!
Gift certificates are available on-site and over the phone with a valid credit card.
